3Y LED strips are a series of strips with an extended warranty period. The warranty is 5 years for tapes with IP20 protection level and 3 years for IP65HS tapes. Additionally, the tapes are characterized by lower voltage drops thanks to the 3oz copper backing. Equipped with Blue Tape mounting tape.
Neutral white
Neutral color is closest to sunlight. It can be used wherever our eyes are forced to strain: at work, in the office and at home. It is the most universal color of light.
24V voltage - lower voltage drops
When installing longer sections of LED strip, it is worth choosing a 24V strip. This will reduce voltage drops that could occur when installing a 12V tape. Additionally, thinner wires can be used to install the 24V strip, which will make it easier to hide them during installation.
See colors in their natural shades
CRI informs about how the colors of the illuminated object are reproduced. The higher the value, the more natural the items look. Naturally, as if they were illuminated by daylight. The use of a strip with a CRI parameter above 90 allows you to reflect the actual color of objects in the room where the LED strip is used.
1200 LED 2216 SMD strip
The density of the LED strip included in the product name is nothing more than the number of diodes mounted on one meter of the LED strip. The number of LEDs per meter of the LED strip affects the uniformity of illumination of the strip mounted in the LED profile. To obtain the desired effect of a uniform line of light, you should consider the densest possible LED strip, especially where the application takes place in a shallow LED profile, which may limit the dispersion of light emitted by LED diodes. The density of the tape also has a direct impact on the frequency of marked cutting places of the LED tape. The tape contains 1,200 diodes on a 5m section. Such a dense arrangement of diodes will allow us to obtain a smoother lighting effect.
IP20 LED strip
IP20 LED strips are strips that do not have a silicone cover. They are covered with a thin layer of varnish that protects against water vapor. However, this is not sufficient protection against moisture. The lack of a cover results in better heat dissipation, which translates into a longer life of the LED strip.
Requires installation of a power supply
The LED strip requires the installation of a power supply. When choosing a power supply, you should take into account the output voltage (it must be the same as the voltage of the LED strip), installation location and power. The power of the power supply depends on the power and length of the LED strip section. The power of the tape should be multiplied by its length. We recommend adding a 10% margin to the calculated power of the power supply.
Why is it worth choosing the professional version of the LED strip?
Professional tapes, different from Standard tapes, have a higher luminous flux, thanks to which, despite using the same LED strip power, the light emitted by a professional tape can be up to half as much as that of a Standard tape.
An additional advantage of using professional tape is that the life of the tape is more than twice as long.
Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. When deciding to install a professional LED strip, we are almost 100% sure that each roll of the strip will have the same color and luminous flux.
